Sandgate Hawks is a not-for-profit netball club located on the North side of Brisbane. Fielding its first team in 1985, the club has a proud history of providing opportunities to play netball in a fun, sociable and family friendly environment. Our members consist of approximately 300 registered players and their families, primarily local to the 4017 area.

We cater for players of all ages, starting from our modified players (7-9 years) right through to our opens (ranging from 18 to 50+ years). We are passionate about finding ‘a team for every player’, because the benefits of being involved in team sports are endless; maintaining fitness, improving motor skills, making new friends and learning to win (and lose) as a team!

We continue to focus our efforts on the development of players and supporting our volunteers. In 2025, we are excited to be celebrating our 40th anniversary! We have grown significantly over the past five years and we expect to see our numbers increase again next year! It’s going to be an action packed year and there’s no better time to join the Hawks family!
