The Sandgate Hawks Netball Club hereby gives notice to members of our upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

📍 Where: Brighton Hotel; Function Room

Agenda Summary:

➡️ Annual reports presented (Presidents, Coaching & Financial)
➡️ Voting in Committee members for 2026

All Committee members must be voted into either an Executive position or one of the below sub-committees:

➡️ Coaching & Grading
➡️ Fundraising and Events
➡️ Presentation 2026

This is in line with our strategic plan and will allow us to better segregate duties in 2026.

We do vote in all Committee members for 2026 at the AGM (see attached for full list). However, it should be noted that we expect to have no nominations from existing Committee members for the below positions:

➡️ Secretary
➡️ Uniform Officer
➡️ Vice President
➡️ Fundraising Officer
➡️Community Engagement Officer
➡️Grants Officer

If you would like to nominate to be a Committee member in 2026, please fill out the attached nomination form and return a signed copy (scanned or photo) to our secretary via email. All nominations for Committee positions must be received by Sunday, 26th October 2025.

Note: You will need to view this post in the “News” section of Team App to access the attached nomination form.

No late nominations will be accepted. If no valid nomination for a position is received, the Chairperson shall call for nominations from the floor at the AGM on the day.

We would love to see a few new faces join us, to support with making the 2026 season a success.
